chiaroscuro experiment 3 - lamplight

Another chiaroscuro experiment, I'm having fun with these. Many thanks to for her stock art, I used this one as the base [link] (you should go look around her gallery, she has such pretty stock art.) Hand traced in Illustrator.

Based on the stock art I used, I'd been going for something slightly mystical and fairy-tale-ish. It turned out a lot more serious than I'd expected.

She's waiting for something, and she's alone, but I don't think she's particularly frightened.

I think she just heard something.
