Circuit Board Pendants: Fax Machine

So I dropped by the thrift store in my neighborhood and found a tiny modem and a busted tape player ("for parts only") for a few bucks, since I wanted some new circuit boards for the last batch. The cashier wondered what I'd use the parts for, and I told him about the pendants. He showed me the employee-only area where they had some machines that were either going to be recycled or thrown out, and said I could take whatever I liked.

So that's how I ended up having the nicest afternoon with pliers and a couple screwdrivers breaking apart an old fax machine while watching "House of Cards." There was a little board just behind the digital readout that was big enough for two pendants.
